How to place a Lengthen the Odds Bet

Understanding Lengthen the Odds bets.

A Lengthen the Odds bet allows you to select the winning distance in a horse racing race. This gives you the opportunity to bet on how far a horse will win by, rather than just the outcome of the race.

This feature is available on selected UK and Irish horse racing markets from 11am.

Placing a Lengthen the Odds bet

1. Select your market

Click or tap on Sports and select Horse Racing.

Make sure the page is set to United Kingdom and Ireland. Then select Today's Races and choose the race you want to bet on.

2. Enable Lengthen the Odds

You will see the normal list of runners. Use the switch button to enable the Lengthen the Odds feature.

3. Select your winning distance

Click the dropdown menu below each runner and select the winning distance. Once you have chosen your distance, tap Bet To Win By X Lengths Or More.

Your selection will automatically be added to your bet slip.

What is a length?

A length is a common way to measure how far ahead a horse finishes.

Distance

1 length ≈ 2.4–2.7 metres

Time

1 length ≈ 0.17–0.2 seconds at racing speed

Important: Your selection must win by at least the chosen distance for the bet to return.

4. Enter your stake

Once your selection has been added to the bet slip, enter the amount you would like to bet in the Stake field.

Your potential returns will be calculated automatically based on your selected odds and stake amount.

5. Use Bonus Funds or Bet Boost Tokens (optional)

If you have promotional rewards available, you may be able to use them when placing your bet.

Important: Bonus Funds may be subject to specific promotion terms and eligibility criteria, including minimum odds, qualifying markets, and maximum stake limits.

6. Review your bet slip

Review your selection, stake amount, and any applied promotions before confirming.

7. Place your bet

Click or tap Place Bet to confirm and submit your bet.

Once your bet has been successfully placed, you will receive a confirmation message in your bet slip.
