What is Affordability?
What is Affordability?
Updated over 2 months ago

It is important that gambling companies try to prevent individuals spending more than they can afford to lose which can lead to harm to an individual. In order to try and mitigate these harms we conduct affordability checks to help identify customers where we think they are spending more than they can afford to lose.

Our affordability checks may require you to provide information about your circumstances and/or supported by documentation at different points throughout the life of your account. So we can provide the best and safest service, it is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete information, particularly with reference to any information that may impact our affordability assessment. At times we may verify any information provided by you with a credit reference agency.

We realize that this is very personal and sensitive information, but we will only ask in order to try and help prevent customers spending more than they can afford. You can find information on how we store and use such data in our T&C's and our Privacy Notice

Because incomes and outgoings can change, we do sometimes request updated documents and information. You can find out more information on the Customer Due Diligence section of our help centre.
