Deposit Limits and Net Deposit Limits

What are Deposit Limits and Net Deposit Limits?

Deposit Limits and Net Deposit Limits are simple and effective tools that can help you stay in control of your gambling.

You can set a Deposit Limit, a Net Deposit Limit, or both within the Safer Gambling Portal.

If you set both, the lowest limit will prevail.

Limit

How it is calculated

Deposit Limit

The total amount deposited into your account.

Net Deposit Limit

The total amount deposited into your account, less any withdrawals.

Available timeframes

You can set either limit on a:

  • Daily basis: 00:00 UTC to 00:00 UTC

  • Weekly basis: Monday 00:00 UTC to the following Monday at 00:00 UTC

  • Monthly basis: The first day of the month at 00:00 UTC to the first day of the following month at 00:00 UTC

  • No Limit

How your limits are calculated

Deposit Limit →Deposit Limits are calculated using your total deposits.

Net Deposit Limit →Net Deposit Limits use a net calculation method:

  • Your remaining limit decreases when you make a deposit.

  • Your remaining limit increases when you make a withdrawal.

Net Deposit Limit example

  • Net Deposit Limit set: £100

  • Deposit £50: Your remaining limit becomes £50.

  • Withdraw £100: Your remaining limit becomes £150.

Important

Any limit you set will apply across all accounts that you may have with us on all brands we operate.

These limits do not apply separately to individual payment methods.

Changing your limits

Action

What happens

Important notes

Reduce your limit

The change takes effect immediately.

You can do this at any time.

Increase your limit

A 24-hour cooling-off period applies. The increase only takes effect after you confirm the change.

You must wait 24 hours and confirm before the new limit is applied.

Important

When you increase a limit, you must wait for the 24-hour cooling-off period to end and confirm the change before the new limit is applied.

Understanding the differences between Time Out, Self-Exclusion, and Account Closure

Not sure which option is right for you?

All three options help you manage your account, but they serve different purposes:

  • Time Out and Self‑Exclusion allow you to take a break from gambling for a set period, depending on how long you need.

  • Account Closure simply closes your account, but it is not a Safer Gambling tool and does not place any gambling restrictions on your profile.
You can reopen it at any time if you wish.

  • Do you gamble to escape from boredom or unhappiness?

  • When gambling and you run out of money, do you feel lost and in despair and need to gamble again as soon as possible?

  • Do you gamble until all your money is lost?

  • Have you ever lied to cover up the amount of money or time you have spent gambling?

  • Are you reluctant to spend gambling money on anything else?

  • Have you lost interest in your family, friends or hobbies?
